This 2.3 ha property is located in Ruiterbos, a high rainfall area at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains only 25 km from Hartenbos, a convenient 25-minute drive. The property consists of a single title deed that borders the R328 tar road, which is the road between Hartenbos and Oudtshoorn. George Airport is 58 km away.
The property is conveniently located in a sought-after area with beautiful views of the surrounding area and the Outeniqua Mountains and only minutes away from all basic services in town.
Infrastructure on the property that could do with a good renovation includes a 2-bedroom main house and a separate 1-bedroom open plan flat. There are several outbuildings that were used for livestock farming and storage. The homestead has beautiful large established trees including several fruit trees, and there is a very nice piece of open area across the earth dam where an additional house can be built.
There is a water furrow from the mountain that flows through the property from which the owner uses water for household and garden use as a supplement to the collected and stored rainwater from the roofs and a dam that collects run-off water. Electricity is supplied by an Eskom connection.
The convenient location ensures a short drive to town for all those working in town or still have kids in school, or even just for the days to stock up on groceries and supplies.
